schoonschip_net(expression: Expression, settings: Optional[SchoonschipSettings] = None, *, expand_contracted_sums: bool = False) -> Expression

Parse and contract a symbolic tensor network using Schoonschip rules.

Set expand_contracted_sums=True to distribute sums before contracted products are executed.

Raises NetworkToolingError when the expression is not a valid tensor network or contraction fails.
